Help people feel calm, supported, and back in control—right inside their homes. At Cut the Clutter RVA, we do more than organize spaces. We help people through real-life transitions—moving, downsizing, and starting fresh. It can be messy. It can be physical. And it's incredibly rewarding. Every home is different. Every client is different. Our approach is always the same: kind, focused, and solutions-driven. These moments can feel overwhelming for our clients, and we always show up with kindness, clarity, and zero judgment. What you'll do We typically work in teams of two, so you'll always have support, guidance and a sounding board. Work one-on-one with clients in their homes Declutter, organize, pack, and unpack Create simple, functional systems that make daily life easier Keep projects moving with calm, clear communication Support clients through both practical and emotional decisions What the work is like Active, hands-on work (typically 4-6 hour shifts) Lifting bins and boxes (30-40 lbs) Working in a variety of spaces (closets, kitchens, garages, attics, etc.) Fast-paced but thoughtful—you'll need to read the room and adapt Growth opportunity This is more than a part-time job. As you gain experience, there are opportunities with structured support to grow into: Team Lead roles Move Management positions Project coordination and client-facing leadership Schedule + pay Part-time, flexible scheduling based on client demand - Typical shifts: 4-6 hours Starting pay begins at $18/hour, plus mileage reimbursement and tips, with strong opportunities for growth in both pay and responsibility Opportunity for increased hours and leadership roles over time Must have reliable transportation (we serve a 30-mile radius of Richmond) How to apply If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
