Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and deli items according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems (Clover) efficiently for sales transactions and order processing Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling additional products to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, food handling stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Assist with food stocking, inventory management, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth deli operations Support food preparation tasks such as slicing meats, cheeses, and other ingredients while adhering to safety standards Engage in quick service practices in a fast-paced environment to serve customers promptly and efficiently Requirements Must be 18 years or older Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but will train the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems like Clover for sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Experience working in quick service or fast paced environments is highly desirable; retail or grocery store background is also beneficial Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy makes a difference!
