Front of House Team Member/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a positive dining experience from the moment they walk in. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our front-of-house services, including cash handling, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness. Duties Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system. Take orders accurately and efficiently (in person, over the phone, or via POS system). Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate cash register operations. Restock and maintain supplies in dining, service, and bathroom areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including bussing tables, cleaning surfaces and floors, maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms to ensure a sanitary and well-supplied environment. Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. Ensure food safety standards are met while serving food and beverages. Assist with food service duties as needed, including restocking supplies. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Requirements Previous Front of House (FOH) or customer service experience preferred, but not mandatory. Strong cash handling skills with proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed. •We are currently seeking candidates who are available to start in May 2026.
