Job Description
Simon's Essex Center is hiring friendly, reliable Deli Associates! This role is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone seeking part-time hours, and is great as a second or seasonal job. Compensation Pay negotiable based on experience Weekly pay - every Friday Wages On-Demand & pay cards available Shifts Mondays - Fridays 11am-4pm Deli Associate Responsibilities Provide friendly and helpful customer service Prepare, slice, wrap, price, and merchandise deli products Make sandwiches, salads, and hot meals Take counter and phone orders and complete them promptly Prep supplies for the next day & maintain clean, organized work areas Follow health code and labeling standards Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic math and computer skills Able to lift 10-20 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) Able to stand for extended periods Comfortable working with cleaning agents Previous deli or food prep experience preferred (training provided) We offer : Weekly pay (every Friday) Paid training Premium holiday pay Paid Time Off Guaranteed hours Health, dental & vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Free uniform shirts Employee discounts Advancement opportunities (promote from within) Pay increase after 3 months (performance review) Simon's Stores is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
