Deli/Bakery Associate

From creating delicious salads and prepared foods to helping people pick out the perfect meal, our deli attendants do it all. Great customer service is a priority, but so is a commitment to making outstanding food and keeping a clean work area. There is an opportunity to work with local food and create seasonal specials.

Full-time Responsibilities:

• Close the kitchen at the end of the day, ensuring all equipment is turned off and properly cleaned.
• Open kitchen 2 days a week and prepare breakfast sandwiches and other lunch items.
• Sanitize all surfaces, utensils, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• provide customer service.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the deli service area.
• use of a slicer.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team Please note that this position may require working some evening shifts
