Retail Sales Associate (Pet Food Consultant)

We're hiring a part-time Retail Associate for our Kirkland location, with an expected schedule of 2-4 shifts per week. What You'll Do Deliver a high level of customer service and build relationships with pet owners Guide and educate customers on pet nutrition and product options Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store Receive and unpack incoming inventory shipments Stock products and help monitor inventory levels and product rotation Assist with invoice verification and basic inventory tracking Support daily store operations and work collaboratively with team members Requirements Prior retail or customer-facing experience strongly preferred Pet food or pet industry experience a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable with routine operational tasks and basic administrative responsibilities Team-oriented with a proactive attitude Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay: $18-$20/hour (DOE) Generous employee discounts Opportunities for growth in customer service, sales, marketing, and pet nutrition
