Cashiers, Meat Clerks & Deli Clerks

Goose Community Grocer is a community-focused neighborhood grocery store on South Whidbey Island dedicated to great service, quality products, and supporting the local community. We're growing our team and looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

We are currently hiring for:

Cashiers Deli Clerks Meat Clerks Starting wage: $18-$20/hour

DOE Cashiers:

Provide friendly and helpful customer service Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately Assist customers with questions and carryout assistance when needed Help maintain a clean, organized front end Stock and face products as needed Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Support overall daily store operations as part of a team

Deli Clerks:

Prepare, package, and stock fresh deli items Assist customers at the deli counter with orders and recommendations Slice meats and cheeses and prepare ready-to-go foods Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked displays Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines Help with kitchen prep, cleaning, and daily department tasks Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced team environment

Meat Clerks:

Package, stock, and merchandise fresh meat products Assist customers with questions, special requests, and product recommendations Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked meat displays Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards Rotate product and monitor freshness and quality Assist with department cleaning and daily operational tasks Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced team environment Join the Goose Community Grocer team and help serve the South Whidbey community with quality products and great customer service.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
