Summary of Job The City of Wisconsin Dells is taking applications for Concession Stand Attendants for the 2026 Season (May through September.) These positions are part-time/seasonal, evenings and weekends
Concessions Stand Attendants deliver friendly, efficient service to guests by preparing and selling food and beverage items at the Elm Street Plaza. Qualified candidates will be able to accurately operate a cash register, take and fulfill food and drink orders, prepare simple menu items, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This position also supports overall downtown event operations as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and process cash and/or electronic payments. Serve food and beverages following all safety and sanitation guidelines. Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with local laws and regulations (18+ with valid bartender license required.) Assist with plaza clean-up, including trash removal, table wiping, and general area upkeep before, during, and after events. Stock supplies and assist with inventory as needed. Maintain cleanliness of concession stand, prep areas, and service counters. Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown. Address guest questions or concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid bartender license required. Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Indoor and/or outdoor concession stand and plaza setting. Exposure to heat, crowds, and varying weather conditions
