Job Description

Overview IBC Airways is seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented Flight Attendant to join our team and provide exceptional service on our EMB 145 aircrafts. As a Flight Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey. You will be the face of our airline, providing exceptional customer service and hospitality while managing various in-flight operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Ensure passenger safety by conducting pre-flight safety checks and demonstrating emergency procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing passenger needs and inquiries throughout the flight. Manage in-flight logistics, including food service and beverage distribution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Handle any in-flight issues or emergencies with professionalism and composure. Uphold the airline's standards of hospitality and ensure a pleasant travel experience for all passengers. Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide emergency care (e.g., performing CPR and basic first aid) when needed Respond to and provide clear and accurate directions (verbally and/or non-verbally) to customers in the event of an emergency Assist customers in lifting and stowing luggage into overhead bins Actively seek to ensure the safety and comfort of customers if an aircraft experiences delays or hits turbulence Must be capable of performing duties in changing environments, including the physiological effects at altitude Ordering and picking up requested catering items for your flight Ensuring that food items are not left on the aircraft once passengers have deplaned Notifying Inflight Supervisor when inventory stock is running low Ensure aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory cleanliness and advise the PIC of any cabin discrepancies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Bi-Lingual preferred (English/Haitian Creole) Strong communication skills with the ability to manage diverse passenger needs effectively. Experience in food service or logistics is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a background check and meet all regulatory requirements for flight attendants. A passion for travel and providing exceptional service is essential. Have a current US passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened Ability to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 40 pounds Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority Ability to work in a physically demanding role which requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting A duty day could range from two (2) to 14 hours While on duty may be away from home for a few days and nights, staying in hotels Reside in the vicinity of Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) Must maintain Flight Attendant Certification and FAA requirements post-hire and successfully complete the IBC Airways Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program Must be accessible by phone or email except when on scheduled days off Join our team as a Flight Attendant and embark on an exciting career that offers opportunities for growth while making a positive impact on travelers' experiences.
