This role involves preparing, mixing, and freezing high-quality ice cream, sorbets, and other frozen desserts. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Previous professional kitchen experience is required. Key Responsibilities Frozen Dessert Production
  • Scale and mix ingredients according to established recipes and production guidelines.
  • Operate ice cream machines, batch freezers, blenders and other production equipment.
  • Monitor the freezing process to ensure proper texture and consistency.
  • Experiment with new flavors and ingredients under the guidance of the Production Manager.
  • Properly label and store finished products for retail or wholesale distribution. Quality Control & Safety
  • Perform quality checks to ensure the consistency, taste, and texture of frozen desserts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.
  • Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety guidelines. Inventory & Equipment Maintenance
  • Assist in measuring and tracking inventory of raw ingredients.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • Report any issues with equipment or ingredient shortages to management.
Pay:
$18.00
