Water Ops Technician

Job Title:

Water Ops Technician - 3rd Shift Job Description As a Water Ops Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining water operations through sampling, load outs, and solids handling. You will ensure the supply of hazardous chemicals and oversee various systems and equipment crucial to water and waste management. Responsibilities Maintain a supply of hazardous chemicals, including acid, caustic, urea, chlorine, polymer, coagulant, anti-scalants, anti-corrosives, steam-line treatments, and anti-foam. Operate and monitor the solids removal screw press. Monitor and maintain RO system filters. Monitor and maintain wastewater MBR modules, including weekly back-flush. Assist with record keeping using checklists and basic excel programs. Handle heavy, wet spent grain and lift construction materials such as pipe, steel, and wood. Perform tasks on scaffolding, scissor lift, 30' tall tank tops, rooftops, or tall ladders. Conduct general construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks using forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Prevent storm water pollution by cleaning around storm sewers and maintaining general housekeeping. Recycle construction materials, metal, and shipping crates and pallets. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Adapt to other duties, responsibilities, and activities as they change or are assigned. Essential Skills Experience in water-related operations. Experience in wastewater management. construction or manufacturing. Skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of irrigation systems. Ability to work in a brewery environment. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
