Tasting Room & Hospitality Associate 174 Winery - Grass Valley, CA Hiring Immediately - Join Our Growing Team! The Opportunity After a successful first month of operations at our brand-new Grass Valley location, 174 Winery is looking for one or two more standout individual to round out our incredible staff. We are seeking a professional who balances high-quality customer service with solid wine knowledge and a background in food preparation. The Role:

Wine, Service, & Small Bites As a key member of our tasting room team, you will:

Host & Guide:

Lead guests through curated wine tastings, sharing the story of our winery and the nuances of our varietals.

Culinary Support:

Assist with light food preparation and presentation to pair with our tasting flights (charcuterie, small bites, etc.).

Drive Sales:

Use your wine knowledge to recommend bottles, process transactions, and grow our Wine Club community.

Engage:

Provide the level of high-tier service that turns first-time visitors into long-term regulars. Schedule & Compensation We value a healthy work-life balance and a positive team culture.

Hours:

Operating hours are 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM ( No late nights! ).

Shifts:

Flexible 6-hour or 8-hour shifts available based on business needs.

Pay:

Competitive hourly wage plus pooled tips , significantly boosting your take-home pay.

Start Date:

Immediate. We are looking to interview and hire this week.

What We're Looking For Experience:

At least 1 year in hospitality or customer service is required.

Culinary Background:

Previous food prep experience is highly preferred; you should be comfortable in a kitchen environment and have an eye for food presentation.

Wine Knowledge:

A strong foundation in wine and a desire to continue learning. Previous wine sales experience is a major plus.

Professionalism:

High-quality customer service standards, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to multitask during busy weekend shifts.
