Job Description

Cellar Tech Saint Helena, CA Apply Job Description:
Small, quality-focused Napa Valley winery looking to connect with qualified candidates for a full-time cellar position. This role is hands-on and supports all aspects of wine production, from harvest through bottling. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a small production team.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with grape receiving and sorting during harvest
  • Perform fermentation management, including punch downs, pump overs, and related cellar work
  • Operate and clean winery equipment and machinery
  • Conduct racking, blending, additions, and barrel work
  • Assist with bottling preparation and bottling operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the cellar
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of winery or cellar experience preferred
  • Strong interest in winemaking and cellar operations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in cellar and harvest conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends during harvest season
  • Forklift experience is a plus
