Job Description

A growing candy manufacturing company in San Bernardino, CA is looking for a dependable Roaster to join our 1st shift production team. The ideal candidate has cooking or food preparation experience and is comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.
Pay:
Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday Friday 1st Shift (4am - 2:30pm) Must be flexible with start times and available for overtime as needed
Responsibilities:
Roast nuts using industrial roasting barrels Measure and prepare ingredients according to production specifications Pour ingredients into roasting barrels Lift and move buckets weighing up to 50 lbs. Monitor the roasting process to ensure product quality Work safely around open flames and high-temperature equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all food safety and company procedures
Qualifications:
Previous cooking, baking, or food production experience required Comfortable working in a hot environment and around open flames Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift Must be able to read and write in English Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
