Sparkling Intern to Full time, Immediate Start
CARBONISTE
Modern Sparkling Wine Sonoma, CA Apply Job Description:
We are a sparkling winery that produces sparkling wines for our own brand, CARBONISTE and some for clients. We control the process from start to finish. Just about everything is done by hand. We are growing rapidly and need some help. One position will start immediately, while others will begin in August. All will be temporary, full-time positions, and may potentially lead to a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the winemakers in all aspects of cellar work including riddling, disgorging, dosage and bottling.
  • Working with the product through all stages, the position does require handling bottles as well as cases, both full and empty, at times all day long.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including presses, tanks, and bottling lines.
  • Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking and organizing finished wines, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the production team in order to ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed during harvest and bottling seasons.
