Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Brewer to lead our brewing operations and ensure the production of high-quality craft beers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brewing, food safety, and manufacturing processes, with a passion for craft beer and a commitment to excellence. This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of brewing, sanitation, packaging, and warehouse management to maintain our reputation for exceptional products. Duties Lead and manage the entire brewing process from raw material selection to finished product, ensuring consistency and quality. Oversee sanitation procedures in compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and food safety standards to maintain a safe brewing environment. Maintain mechanical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed. Supervise packaging operations, including kegging, bottling, and labeling to ensure efficient throughput. Manage warehouse activities related to inventory control, storage, and distribution logistics. Ensure compliance with all food industry regulations and safety protocols related to brewing and manufacturing. Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to monitor product quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Train staff on proper procedures for brewing, sanitation, safety, and equipment operation. Qualifications Proven experience in brewing, with a strong understanding of craft beer production processes. Knowledge of sanitation standards including HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations. Mechanical knowledge related to brewing equipment and manufacturing machinery. Prior experience in manufacturing environments with familiarity in food or beverage industries. Warehouse experience including inventory management and forklift operation is preferred. Strong understanding of packaging processes within a brewery setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Passion for craft beer and innovation within the brewing industry is highly desirable.
