Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Bartender at Breckenridge Brewery here at The Inverness Hilton Golf resort, you will create memorable guest experiences by crafting outstanding drinks, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere. You will be responsible for preparing beverages, interacting with guests, and ensuring compliance with Hilton standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner and ensure a welcoming bar environment. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Hilton standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell beverages and food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and equipment. Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems. Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and hotel policies. Work collaboratively with the restaurant and kitchen team to ensure efficient service. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Maintain knowledge of bar menu items, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or upscale environment preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol (varies by state/country). Basic math and cash-handling skills. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
