Established in Boulder, Colorado, in 2005, Ku Cha House of Tea is a traditional Chinese tea shop dedicated to bringing premium loose leaf teas from all around the world to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team at our NEW Lakewood location. Training will occur at the Boulder Pearl Street location.

Retail Sales Associates / Tea Brewers (No experience necessary)

Job Description:

As a retail sales associate or tea brewer, you will play a crucial role in representing the Ku Cha House of Tea brand and ensuring the satisfaction of our valued customers. Responsibilities include assisting customers, providing product knowledge, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in comprehensive tea training and tastings to deepen knowledge of our product offerings and brewing techniques. Provide courteous, sales-related customer service by assisting customers in discovering their personal favorites among Ku Cha's premium loose-leaf teas and discussing brewing methods to enhance their tea experience. Pack teas, stock merchandise, receive and organize inventory and supplies, and ensure the store is clean and organized to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Follow store operating policies, procedures, and standards, including cash handling protocols and maintaining store safety and security measures. Collaborate with other tea brewers to efficiently take customer orders, prepare and serve beverages, and deliver prompt service that exceeds customer expectations. Maintain clear communication with management to identify sales opportunities, address customer feedback, and proactively address any market issues to ensure the success of Ku Cha House of Tea.

Basic Qualifications:

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, mornings, and/or holidays to meet the needs of our customers and business operations. Willingness and ability to perform various tasks within Ku Cha House of Tea during your shift, adapting to changing priorities and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay for a retail sales associate and tea brewer may vary based on applicable previous experience, with starting compensation at $15.16 per hour.
