Every batch is single-source, hand-crafted, and made following our mission. Our process emphasizes respect for the plant, purity of product, and sustainability. We're seeking someone who shares these values and has a deep love for hash culture and the art of solventless extraction. Position Overview The Bubble Hash Wash Technician will be responsible for performing ice water extractions and all other tasks associated with the process following our SOP's and under the supervison of our Bubble Hash Master . This is a hands-on role requiring precision, cleanliness, and a deep understanding of trichome behavior. You'll work with fresh frozen material from our garden, executing batch-specific washes that retain the essence of each cultivar. You'll also help evolve and refine our SOPs to maintain the integrity, consistency, and excellence that define Edun. The ideal candidate is passionate about solventless cannabis extraction and will be responsible for producing high-quality bubble hash using ice water separation methods. You will manage washing schedules, ensure optimal yields and cleanliness, and support a culture of excellence and compliance. Core Responsibilities Perform ice water extraction operations, from prep and staging through final collection and freeze-drying. Handle and wash fresh frozen flower with intention, respecting each cultivar's unique traits and processing needs. Operate and maintain all washing equipment, including stainless steel vessels, reverse osmosis systems, and freeze dryers. Oversee filtration using multiple micron bags, separating trichome heads with care and consistency. Monitor wash variables like water temperature, agitation force, and batch timing to optimize quality and yield. Manage freeze dryer cycles, monitor resin texture and terpene preservation Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring a spotless wash room and toolset. Stay grounded in craftsmanship and plant respect while continually innovating toward better expressions of hash. Document all pre and post-wash procedures. Track inputs and outputs, ensuring accurate batch records and traceability. Track batch logs, including biomass weight, micron yields, freeze dryer data, and daily notes for transparency and refinement. Maintain all records as required by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, following all state and internal SOPs related to sanitation, PPE, and regulatory compliance. Stay current on industry trends, solventless techniques, and innovations in hash washing. Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in solventless hash production, preferably in a small-batch or craft environment. Working knowledge of ice water extraction and freeze drying, with an artisan's touch. Comfortable working with cold water, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a cold and wet environment. A natural sense of rhythm and timing, with the ability to "read" the resin during processing. Understanding of cannabis trichome structure and water hash extraction principles. Familiarity with freeze dryers (e.g., Harvest Right), micron bags, and water temperature control. Meticulous attention to cleanliness, detail, and consistency. Strong communication skills, especially around process notes and production scheduling. Passion for regenerative farming, solventless extraction, and cannabis culture. Must be 21+ and must be able to obtain an MED Badge (compliant with state licensing requirements). Bonus Qualifications Experience growing or working directly with living-soil cannabis. Familiarity with traditional hash-making styles or global hash history. A portfolio of prior work (e.g., photos, melt test videos, lab results) is highly encouraged. Enthusiasm for educating others about solventless and small-batch methods. Passion for solventless products and a deep appreciation for hash culture. Basic understanding of the METRC inventory tracking systems.
