Responsibilities Lead engaging wine tastings, guiding guests through tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and wine characteristics Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and upselling products to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of tasting areas, ensuring all glassware, bottles, and supplies are properly stored and sanitized Assist with menu planning for tastings, events, or special promotions to showcase our wine collection effectively Support sales initiatives by promoting featured wines and encouraging repeat visits through personalized interactions Handle POS transactions accurately using systems such as Clover POS , including cash handling and receipt processing Collaborate with team members on event setup, food pairing arrangements, and catering services to create seamless experiences Experience Previous restaurant experience or customer service background is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Clover is a plus Experience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Banquet or catering experience is advantageous for supporting large events or private tastings Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Background in fine dining environments or culinary experience enhances your ability to deliver exceptional tasting experiences Understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential Embark on a rewarding journey in the world of wine!
