Pasteurizer Technician

G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Inc. is a manufacturer of authentic Italian gelato, sorbet, plant-based frozen desserts, and soft serve with national distribution in the foodservice and grocery/retail industries. G.S. Gelato is looking for a Pasteurizer Technician to join our growing Pasteurization team. Job Duties include, but not limited to: Operating and monitoring the pasteurization process, including adding ingredients, sensory analysis, monitoring time and temperatures of recipes, and completing paperwork upon completion Responsible for maintaining equipment in the pasteurization area Notifying management of deficiencies in the pasteurization area or processes Follow and enforce GS Gelato's GMP, SQF, safety and sanitation regulations All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Able to Lift 50 Lbs continuously Flexible schedule Must not be sensitive to heat/steam Demonstrated ability to interpret information. Able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to use cleaning products and equipment Kitchen experience preferred, but not required
