We are looking for passionate and disciplined individuals who are interested in learning the craft of gelato making and becoming specialists in the product. Position Overview As a Gelato Maker (Gelatier), you will be responsible for the preparation, production, and maintenance of our gelato according to Anita Gelato's standards. This role requires hands-on training, precision, consistency, and a genuine passion for the product and process. We are looking for someone who understands that great gelato requires technique, care, patience, and pride in execution. Responsibilities Prepare and produce gelato following Anita Gelato recipes and procedures Learn and apply proper gelato-making techniques and production standards Monitor texture, consistency, temperature, and quality throughout production Properly handle and store ingredients while maintaining freshness and organization Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and production equipment Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with inventory organization and production preparation Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards Ensure consistency and quality across all flavors and batches Qualifications Passion for food craftsmanship and high-quality products Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical skills Ability to follow precise recipes and procedures Reliable, organized, and team-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or production environment Previous kitchen, pastry, or gelato experience is a plus, but not required Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays preferred What We Offer Hands-on professional training in authentic gelato production Opportunity to develop specialized culinary skills Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Employee discounts Competitive hourly pay At Anita Gelato, we value technique, discipline, consistency, and passion for the craft.
