Brewer - I

Brewlando is rapidly growing and looking to add a brewer to our brew team. The Brewer is responsible for individual conduct, good judgement and to uphold the highest standards of Brewlando. This position is responsible for all aspects of the brewing process, from grain-to-glass, ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe environment, and working well as part of a team in a fast paced, rapidly growing brewery.

Key Responsibilities Brewing Operations:

Execute all aspects of brewing, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and cooling.

Cellar Work:

Manage fermentation, yeast handling, dry-hopping, crashing, and filtering/centrifuging. Sanitation (CIP): Adhere to strict sanitation and cleaning protocols (CIP) for all tanks, kegs, and equipment.

Data Management:

Record brewing data and maintain accurate records in our brewing software.

Quality Control:

Monitor pH, temperature, and gravity to ensure product consistency.

Packaging:

Perform and oversee canning and kegging operations. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of professional brewing experience in a production brewery. Willingness to learn and apply Brewlando's production practices. Strong knowledge of brewing science and equipment maintenance. Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes hot and loud environment. Ability to provide sensory analysis on all products. Must be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long shifts. Available for early mornings, weekends, and rotating shifts. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. This position involves working with boiling liquids and exposure to chemicals. Employee will be exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent sounds that can be loud in nature, extreme heat and cold, and wet and humid conditions.
