In this energetic role, you will be responsible for producing authentic gelato in a fast-paced, food processing environment. Your dedication to food safety, sanitation, and precision will ensure every batch meets our high standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and passion for food come together to create delightful experiences for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and blend ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards Operate gelato production equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and machinery in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and safety of all products Assist with packaging finished gelato products accurately and efficiently for distribution or retail display Follow all FDA regulations and food industry standards to uphold the highest levels of food safety Support inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation Requirements Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or food processing plant preferred but not required; training provided Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation procedures essential Mechanical knowledge helpful for operating and troubleshooting production equipment Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for recipe measurements and inventory counts Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
