Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Sales Associate to join our morning team at various farmers markets around Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about representing our brand, products, and values. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our business, helping customers learn about our pickles and ensuring they have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down the market booth in a timely, efficient, and organized manner. Engage with customers, providing information about our products, answering questions, and offering samples. Maintain the market booth by ensuring products are neatly displayed, and the booth is clean and inviting. Process sales using Square POS system, handle cash, and ensure accurate transactions. Educate customers on the quality of our products, including ingredients, flavors, and health benefits. Assist with inventory management, including restocking products during the market. Build relationships with repeat customers and contribute to brand loyalty. Support market team members, collaborating to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. Follow all health and safety protocols while handling food and maintaining the booth. Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences and market trends.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, preferably in a food-related or farmers market setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle early morning hours and set up at various outdoor locations. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus. Why Join Us? Competitive pay.
