We supply chefs and culinary teams at many of the most respected restaurants, hotels, and clubs in America with a curated portfolio across Caviar, Truffles & Foraged Mushrooms, Domestic & International Wagyu, Heritage Pork & Poultry, Seafood, Cheese, and an extensive pantry program of conservas, oils, vinegars, and other imported specialty products. Our reputation is built on provenance, consistency, and the deep relationships our sales team maintains with chefs. Headquartered in Brooklyn with branches in Chicago and Texas, we're one of the fastest-growing specialty food companies in the country. The Role We're hiring a Sales Representative to take over an established book of business in the Chicago market. You'll be responsible for maintaining and growing sales across an active portfolio of chef-driven accounts, while also developing new business across Chicago's restaurant, hotel, and culinary landscape. This is a high-autonomy, in-market role for someone who genuinely loves food, knows their way around a kitchen, and wants to represent the best ingredients in the industry. You'll report into our commercial operations and Chicago branch leadership, and work cross-functionally with our culinary, dispatch, purchasing, and AR teams to deliver a category-leading customer experience. Because this role sits at the intersection of sales and operations, you'll be expected to adopt and work fluently within our technology stack
  • managing your accounts, orders, pricing, and customer activity through our ERP and supporting systems. What you'll do Own a portfolio of chef-driven restaurant, hotel, and club accounts in Chicago
  • retain, deepen, and grow the existing book Prospect and open new accounts through organic onboardings, tastings, kitchen visits Build deep product knowledge across our caviar, truffle, wagyu, heritage protein, seafood, cheese, and pantry programs Conduct in-person tastings and product education with chefs and buying teams Manage your pipeline, quotes, orders, and account activity within our ERP and CRM tools Partner with dispatch, purchasing, and AR on inventory availability, delivery, billing, and account health What we're looking for 2+ years of sales experience in specialty food, fine dining, beverage, or a related hospitality-adjacent field (chefs and front-of-house leaders pivoting into sales are encouraged to apply) A genuine, working knowledge of the Chicago restaurant scene Comfort cold-walking kitchens, running tastings, and building chef relationships from scratch Strong organizational habits•you can manage a pipeline, follow up reliably, and keep your book clean Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn our systems•prior experience with ERP, CRM, or order management tools is a strong plus Excellent communication and a customer-first instinct Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $75,000 minimum based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Heavy product perks•you'll eat very well
