Restaurant Associate

Restaurant Associate Responsibilities:

The Restaurant Associate is responsible for the preparation of food, complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and the established food production programs and procedures. Additionally, the restaurant associate is responsible for working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. The Restaurant Associate will report directly to the General Manager. Restaurant Associate duties will include, but are not limited to:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and serviceWelcome guests to the restaurant and answer their questionsAdhere to all recipe guidelinesPreparation of food dailyAlways keep work area neat and clean, clean and maintain equipment used for food preparation and cleanliness of the restaurantFollow proper food storage, food handling, and food preparation standardsMaintain in-stocksActively seek out customers in storeAssess guests needs, remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available optionsProcess POS (point of sale) purchasesCross sell and suggestive sell productsTeam up with co-workers to ensure proper guest serviceHelp team with packaging, cooking, cleaning, and any other job functionsBuild relationships of trust with guestsComply with inventory control proceduresFollow personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by the health department and company policies and procedures

Experience/Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with POS transactionsCustomer service experience Availability to work flexible shiftsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop

Hours:

The Restaurant Associate is a full time or part time position and hours will vary

Salary/Income:

The Restaurant Associate is a non-exempt, hourly position
