Tasting Room Associate Part-Time

Loew Vineyards is a boutique family-owned winery seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at one of Maryland's oldest existing wineries. Our perfect candidate will have a passion for hospitality, come to work with a positive attitude, provide exceptional service to our guests and be a team player willing to assist in all aspects of the tasting room. Candidates must also be passionate and knowledgeable about wine, willing to learn, have exceptional customer service skills and have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Hiring Part Time positions:

Sales and Service Duties Speak comfortably in front of both small and large groups Communicate genuinely and passionately with guests, especially the winery's unique history Provide valuable and entertaining wine and brand education Create memorable experiences for all guests who visit the estate Engage with customers and sell wine before their experience ends in the tasting room Promote and sell wine club memberships Maintain composure in stressful/unpredictable situations and handle them effectively Work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and maintain enthusiasm throughout the business day Represent the winery at off-premise functions as needed Additional Operational Duties Perform opening and closing tasks Stock retail area by moving and distributing cases of wine and other merchandise Assist with special events as needed Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of the winery and its wines Make and receive sales calls as needed Able to clean up after customers and ensure a clean and safe environment for guests

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
