About Jabal Coffee House Jabal Coffee House is a fast-growing luxury specialty coffee brand focused on quality, hospitality, and beautifully crafted coffee experiences. Our headquarters in Dearborn supports a growing network of cafés across North America through in-house roasting and production. We are looking for an experienced Coffee Roaster to join our HQ team and take an active role in our day-to-day roasting operations. Position Overview We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented coffee roaster to oversee roasting production at our headquarters. This role will be responsible for maintaining consistency, quality control, and daily roast execution across our coffee program. The ideal candidate has prior roasting experience, a strong understanding of coffee quality, and takes pride in precision and consistency. Responsibilities Roast coffee for daily production and distribution across multiple locations Follow and maintain established roast profiles with consistency Perform cupping, quality control, and roast evaluation Monitor green and roasted coffee inventory Package and organize roasted coffee for production and shipment Maintain roasting equipment and production workspace Keep accurate roast logs and batch records Work closely with the HQ production and warehouse team to support operations Qualifications Previous coffee roasting experience required Experience operating commercial roasting equipment Strong understanding of roast development and coffee quality Experience with cupping and sensory evaluation preferred Strong attention to detail and consistency Organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to lift coffee bags and assist with production-related tasks What We're Looking For Passion for specialty coffee and craftsmanship Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to maintain quality and consistency at scale Someone who works well with a team and takes ownership of the roasting process Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding luxury coffee company To apply: Please send your resume and a brief summary of your roasting experience.
