Pay Rate:

Family, Transparency, Authenticity, and Quality. Position Overview The Food Production Worker plays a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing of Fit Butters products. This position supports multiple stages of the production process, including ingredient handling, equipment operation, sanitation, assembly line work, and quality control. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities Ingredient Handling:

Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to production recipes and established guidelines.

Equipment Operation:

Safely and efficiently operate basic food manufacturing equipment.

Equipment Maintenance & Cleaning:

Disassemble, wash, rinse, and sanitize food manufacturing equipment following proper food safety and cleaning procedures.

Sanitation & Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times in compliance with food safety standards.

Assembly Line Work:

Perform multiple functions along the production line, including: Adding toppings to jars Capping and sealing jars Packing jars into cases Palletizing finished goods for shipment

Quality Control:

Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to Fit Butters standards.

Basic Computer Skills:

Utilize basic computer systems for tracking batches, inventory, or other production-related data. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in food handling, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities as production needs evolve Required to speak fluently in english for effective communication Work Environment Fast-paced food production environment Exposure to varying temperatures and food ingredients Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, and other sanitary gear Compensation & Growth Opportunities This position starts as a part-time role with consistent hours (~30 per week) and offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as Fit Butters moves into its new production facility in Brooklyn Center.
