Job Description
J's Kombucha is a Saint Paul Kombuchery dedicated to crafting approachable, refreshing, mellow kombucha. We are committed to using high-quality ingredients and providing our community with healthy, delicious beverages, flavored with fresh herbs and fruit juice we cold-press on-site. J's Kombucha prioritizes the health and well-being of our team members by supporting a work-life balance. J's Kombucha is currently seeking to fill a part-time juicing roll. As part of a small team, this individual will primarily be involved with juicing 2-3 days per week with the potential for additional hours and/or expand responsibilities in the future. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform juicing as assigned
- Prep fruit and juice using Good Nature Juicer and other equipment
- Assist in juice additions, transfers, etc.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization procedures on juicers, related equipment
- Adhere to
GMP, SQF
standards and follow all relevant company SOPs and programs.- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Adhere to weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Attend production meetings and contribute to product and process improvement.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Has 1-2 years of juicing, kitchen, or prep experience, though other food/beverage production work will also be considered for this role.
- Has at minimum a High School or equivalent degree.
- Enjoys the rhythms of a physical job and doesn't mind getting dirty.
- Is meticulous about sanitation and keeping things clean and organized.
- Understands the need for record keeping and does so reliably.
- Has strong communication skills (including listening) to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knows how to be self-directed and work independently when needed.
- Can stay focused on details and work safely in a busy environment.
- Is able to lift 55 lbs.
