Job Description

J's Kombucha is a Saint Paul Kombuchery dedicated to crafting approachable, refreshing, mellow kombucha. We are committed to using high-quality ingredients and providing our community with healthy, delicious beverages, flavored with fresh herbs and fruit juice we cold-press on-site. J's Kombucha prioritizes the health and well-being of our team members by supporting a work-life balance. J's Kombucha is currently seeking to fill a part-time juicing roll. As part of a small team, this individual will primarily be involved with juicing 2-3 days per week with the potential for additional hours and/or expand responsibilities in the future. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform juicing as assigned
  • Prep fruit and juice using Good Nature Juicer and other equipment
  • Assist in juice additions, transfers, etc.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization procedures on juicers, related equipment
  • Adhere to
GMP, SQF
standards and follow all relevant company SOPs and programs.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
  • Adhere to weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Attend production meetings and contribute to product and process improvement.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Has 1-2 years of juicing, kitchen, or prep experience, though other food/beverage production work will also be considered for this role.
  • Has at minimum a High School or equivalent degree.
  • Enjoys the rhythms of a physical job and doesn't mind getting dirty.
  • Is meticulous about sanitation and keeping things clean and organized.
  • Understands the need for record keeping and does so reliably.
  • Has strong communication skills (including listening) to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knows how to be self-directed and work independently when needed.
  • Can stay focused on details and work safely in a busy environment.
  • Is able to lift 55 lbs.
and maneuver up to 165 lbs., with appropriate equipment provided.

WORK CONDITIONS
  • Frequent driving, walking, standing and carrying heavy or awkward objects.
Job Type:
part-time (average of 16-24 hours/week).
Pay:
starting at $19.25 per hour.
