Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Food Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced food production environment. This role involves preparing, processing, and packaging meat products while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer conditions and can efficiently perform physical tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare meat products for production lines and subsequent processing stages Utilize tools, materials, and production processes effectively to meet daily production goals Follow all Food Safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Conduct visual inspections of meat products to ensure quality and specification compliance Maintain company standards and meet customer requirements Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area Work in refrigerated environments ranging from 35°F to 45°F Perform tasks in freezer environments ranging from 10°F to -10°F as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of food safety practices Understanding of production processes and procedures Ability to work in cold-temperature and fast-paced environments High School Diploma or GED preferred Basic reading, writing, and math skills required No prior experience required Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Preferred Skills Meat packaging experience FSQA (Food Safety & Quality Assurance) or quality control experience Equipment operation experience Soft Skills Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good problem-solving abilities
