Brewery Taproom Manager Columbus, NC 28722 From $40,000 a year - Full-time From $40,000 a year - Full-time Ready to run the yard? Iron Key Brewing Co. is looking for a strong, organized, people-first Taproom Manager to lead our front-of-house operations, support our staff, and help create the kind of experience that keeps guests coming back for another round behind bars. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day taproom operations Hire, train, schedule, and support FOH staff Maintain a positive, accountable team culture Oversee customer experience and resolve guest concerns Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and floor flow
Menu Planning:
Collaborating with owners/chefs to modify or update menus/specials, ensuring they are profitable and appealing to customers. Coordinate daily staff scrums/schedule them while away and service communication Maintain cleanliness and operational standards Manage FOH inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Handle POS updates, menu changes, and basic troubleshooting Assist with payroll systems, invoices, deposits, and reporting Support weekly events, including trivia, bingo, live music, and special events Jump into service positions when needed and lead by example We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has restaurant, brewery, bar, or hospitality management experience Communicates clearly and confidently Can multitask and stay calm under pressure Is organized, dependable, and proactive Works well independently and with a team Understands guest experience and team leadership Is comfortable learning and using systems like Arryved, MarginEdge, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Loves community-focused hospitality and craft beer culture Preferred Qualifications Previous taproom or restaurant management experience Beer knowledge and passion for craft beverages and cocktails Experience with inventory management and scheduling Experience training and developing staff Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Schedule & Expectations This is a full-time leadership role requiring a flexible schedule based on business needs. Managers should expect a mix of administrative work, floor management, and active service support. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull restaurant/bar supplies Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment Why Iron Key?
