Assistant Brewer

Traust Brewing is a large brewpub in downtown Mount Holly, about 15 min from center city Charlotte. We have a 3 bbl Stout system, 3 x 7 bbl Deutsche fermentors and 2 x 15 bbl Deutsche fermentors. Canning on site with a 2 head MCS canner and keg washing with an ABS keg viking. Knowledge and experience with these systems a big plus.

• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting beer and ensuring quality production processes. As a Brewer, you will be responsible for overseeing brewing operations, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety standards.

• Responsibilities:

• Operate brewing equipment efficiently and safely
• Monitor fermentation processes and adjust as needed
• Package finished products for distribution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the brewery

• Requirements:

• Proven experience in brewing within the industry
• Ability to operate brewing machinery and perform basic maintenance
• Proficiency in warehouse operations including packaging and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
