Craft Beer Brewer Part Time

Job Overview Border Brewery & BBQ is looking for an experienced part-time brewer to join our small production team and run our 1 BBL nano system. This is an off-day or nighttime role designed to fit around a full-time job or another brewing gig. After a short ramp-up brewing alongside our brewmaster, you'll be running solo shifts independently. We brew small, we brew often, and we care about consistency. If you take pride in clean equipment, accurate logs, and beer that tastes the same every time, we want to talk. Responsibilities Execute full brew days on our 1 BBL system from grain-in to knockout Mill grain bills to recipe specification Perform CIP (clean-in-place) on tanks, lines, and brewhouse equipment General brewery cleaning and sanitation Keg finished beer, soda-style kegs Force carbonate beers to spec Maintain accurate batch documentation (gravities, volumes, temps, timing, yeast pitches, deviations) Work independently and communicate clearly with the brewmaster on each batch Required Qualifications 3-5 years of professional beer brewing experience (non-negotiable) Strong attention to detail — sanitation, measurements, and documentation must be right every time Comfortable working solo after initial onboarding Reliable, punctual, and self-directed Able to lift 55 lb grain sacks repeatedly and stand for full brew shifts Preferred Experience on small-batch or nano systems Familiarity with soda/seltzer kegging Formal brewing coursework a plus, not required Why This Role Flexible nights/off-day schedule — great as a second gig or supplemental income Run your own shifts after ramp-up — autonomy, not babysitting Small team, real ownership over the beer you make To Apply Send a short note about your brewing experience to joe@borderbrewsupply.com or apply directly through Indeed.
