Formulation Technician

Formulation Technician Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Formulation Technician to support production operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring production processes run efficiently while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain the production area in a clean, organized, and compliant manner in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Safely handle biological and hazardous materials Perform tank cleanouts, sterilization procedures, and routine equipment maintenance Prepare glassware, filtration systems, and other materials required for production runs Follow and execute production schedules accurately and efficiently Adhere to and support quality procedures and documentation requirements Operate laboratory and production equipment, including: Centrifuges Filtration systems pH meters Balances Mixers Qualifications Experience working in a GMP or regulated production environment preferred Familiarity with handling biological and/or hazardous materials Ability to follow standard operating procedures and production schedules Understanding of quality systems and procedures SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) system experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Additional Requirements Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
