- Full-time Out East Brewing LLC owns and operates two of Long Island's premier destination farm breweries: Long Island Farm Brewery with locations in Riverhead and Manorville NY and Jamesport Farm Brewery, with a location in Riverhead NY.
We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-focused Manager to oversee the daily front of the house operations, staffing, programming, and guest experience across both breweries. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building great teams, creating memorable guest experiences, and executing successful events. Position Summary The Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the tasting room, including staff leadership, event coordination, entertainment programming, scheduling, payroll preparation, recruiting, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with strong hospitality management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance operational excellence with creating an outstanding guest experience. Primary Responsibilities Manage daily tasting room operations at both breweries. Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency. Serve as the primary manager on duty during peak business hours. Coordinate with ownership regarding operational goals, staffing, and business performance. Staff Management Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members. Develop weekly staff schedules to ensure proper coverage. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development. Conduct performance reviews and address employee performance issues. Events & Entertainment Plan and coordinate brewery events throughout the year. Book and manage live music, bands, and entertainment. Coordinate food truck scheduling and vendor relationships. Payroll & Administration Prepare and submit weekly payroll accurately and on time. Monitor labor costs and staffing efficiency. Maintain employee scheduling systems. Assist ownership with operational reporting and budgeting. Vendor & Partner Relationships Build and maintain strong relationships with musicians, food truck operators, vendors, event parking companies, event security companies, and community partners. Negotiate entertainment schedules and coordinate logistics. Qualifications 5+ years of hospitality, restaurant, brewery, winery, or event venue management experience. Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees. Experience with scheduling software. Strong recruiting and employee development skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. .
