Location:
419 W Seven Stars Rd. Phoenixville, PA Job description Seven Stars Farm is a small dairy processor dedicated to producing high-quality dairy products and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities- Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment (pasteurizers, fillers) to ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of all processing areas and equipment per GMP and SOP standards.
- Assist with recipe and batch preparation, weigh ingredients, and verify batch records for accuracy.
- Conduct in-process quality checks (temperature, pH, flow, packaging integrity) and document results.
- Load, monitor, and control packaging lines; assist with labeling, sealing, and carton formation as required.
- Maintain accurate batch records, weight scales setup.
- Identify and report deviations or equipment issues; participate in basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Support on-the-job training and ongoing process improvements as needed.
Optional:
participate in internal QA sampling, product testing, and shelf-life studies if applicable. QualificationsExperience:
none required but experience in dairy processing, food manufacturing, or related environment is helpful.Knowledge:
Basic understanding of food safety, cleanliness, GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety practices.Skills:
Attention to detail, reliable communication, ability to follow written and oral instructions, learning and teamwork, mentoring and batch-record coordination.- Physical requirements: Stand for long periods, lift to 30 pounds, perform repetitive tasks.
