Cheesemaker Assistant Location:
Anderson, SC Schedule:
1st Shift Starting Wage 18$ A local food production facility is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Cheesemaker Assistant to join their production team. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity for someone interested in food production and maintaining high sanitation standards in a USDA‑regulated environment. Schedule Monday•
Thursday:
7:00 AM•4:00
PM Friday:
7:00 AM•1:00 PM Job Duties Perform industrial and kitchen cleaning duties to meet USDA and DHEC sanitation standards Assist with cheesemaking production activities as needed Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and production vats Follow all safety, hygiene, and food‑handling procedures Maintain accurate cleanliness and production standards Support overall production operations as assigned
Note:
Approximately 75% cleaning and sanitation and 25% cheesemaking assistance . Qualifications Previous kitchen, food production, or industrial cleaning experience preferred Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, twist, squat, and perform repetitive movements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness Reliable attendance and punctuality Workplace Requirements Hairnet may be required (provided) PPE provided Site safety orientation required
Dress Code:
Jeans and t‑shirt acceptable
Restrictions:
No false eyelashes, long nails, or temporary nails due to food safety requirements Cheesemaker Assistant (Temp‑to‑Perm)
