Job Summary As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you are responsible for ensuring local bars/restaurants serve the highest quality pints of draft beer. A typical day will be visiting various customer locations to keep their draft beer systems clean and serving great beer. You'll build ongoing relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders to ensure their draft systems are serviced properly and serve great beer as the brewmaster intended! Responsibilities and Duties Draft Beer Quality Technicians clean beer lines in restaurants and bars along their assigned routes. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, mechanical skills, high integrity, self-motivation, and willingness to provide excellent quality of work and customer service. No previous experience required as we provide training on draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position is part-time. The position will consist of 6-7 hours of work per day, 3 days per week. 18-21 hours per week total. The 3 days per week are flexible but will be during the week, Monday-Friday, within the hours of 8am-5pm. No early morning, evening, or night shifts available. Starting Pay 2 weeks of training at a rate of $20/hr. Post-training rate begins at $3.25 per beer line cleaned. The average part-time employee cleans 330 beer lines per two-week pay period.
Transportation:
Personal and reliable vehicle required. AHFP offers mileage reimbursement at a rate of $0.72 per mile Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift 50+ lbs Hands-on, quick learner
