  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview Igo's Pour Decisions is a new tasting room focused on wines from across the globe along with beers and coffee.
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Tasting Room Associates to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wine, enjoys storytelling, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment. As a Tasting Room Associate, you will create memorable experiences for guests by providing exceptional service, educating visitors about the wines, beers, and food we provide while promoting our philosophy of "joie de vivre" along with sales and club memberships. Pay rate is $12
  • $18 per hour, DOE, plus tips

Our operating pay schedule is weekly. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage guests warmly upon arrival to the tasting room. Lead guests through wine tastings/selections, sharing knowledge of wine/beer selections and wine portfolio. Promote and sell wine, beer, food, and wine club memberships. Handle point-of-sale transactions, including cash and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, kitchen, bathrooms and work areas. Assist with restocking wine and merchandise, setting up displays, and maintaining visual standards. Support special events, private tastings, and off-site promotional activities as needed. Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with TABC and local laws.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred; wine industry experience a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. TABC and Texas Food Handler certification required before hiring.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent Customer Service. Knowledge of wine and winemaking practices. POS system experience (e.g., Square, OrderPort, WineDirect). Sales and/or wine club promotion experience.
