As a Brewer, you will oversee the entire brewing process, ensuring every batch meets our high standards for flavor, safety, and consistency. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their brewing skills and contribute to a vibrant craft beer community. Duties Operate brewing equipment safely and efficiently, including mash tuns, fermenters, kettles, and packaging lines. Maintain strict sanitation protocols throughout the brewing process to ensure food safety and product quality. Monitor fermentation stages closely, adjusting parameters as needed to achieve desired flavor profiles. Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and work areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Assist with packaging operations such as filling, capping, labeling, and palletizing bottles or cans while ensuring accuracy and quality control. Support warehouse activities including inventory management, raw material handling, and proper storage of ingredients and finished products. Operate forklifts safely for moving ingredients and finished goods within the facility. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold food safety standards and document all procedures diligently. Perform mechanical troubleshooting on brewing equipment as needed to minimize downtime. Uphold sanitation standards by cleaning tanks, lines, tools, and workspaces regularly to prevent contamination. Qualifications Prior experience in brewing or manufacturing environments is highly preferred; craft beer experience is a plus! Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Familiarity with sanitation procedures aligned with HACCP and CGMP guidelines for food safety. Knowledge of food industry standards related to safety, cleanliness, and quality assurance. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required. Experience with packaging processes within a manufacturing setting is desirable. Warehouse experience beneficial for inventory management tasks. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
