Perform basic cutting, trimming, weighing, bagging, labeling, and repacking of fresh produce in an organized and sanitary manner. Ensure all products are handled according to GMPs and food safety protocols , including temperature control and personal hygiene. Assist with set-up and changeover of equipment or lines as directed by the Line Lead or Production Manager. Visually inspect product quality and packaging for defects or contamination, and report concerns immediately. Work efficiently to meet daily production and On-Time/In-Full (OTIF) goals. Maintain clean and organized work areas, and support end-of-shift cleanup and sanitation efforts. Follow all safety protocols including safe equipment handling and PPE usage. Support labeling accuracy by verifying SKUs, lot codes, expiration dates, and customer requirements. Help ensure traceability by following proper product flow and recording procedures. Cross-train in multiple areas (fresh-cut, repack, labeling, staging) to support overall team needs. Required Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in a food production, warehouse, or repack facility is preferred but not required. Must be comfortable working in cold environments (34-50°F) for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and repeatedly. Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours or overtime as needed. Positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic required. Basic understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and personal hygiene practices . Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, or technology , including barcode scanners, label printers, and digital tracking tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Core Expectations for All LS Warehouse & Production Staff Demonstrate respectful and cooperative behavior toward teammates and supervisors. Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and personal hygiene at all times. Support cross-functional collaboration , including coordination with warehouse, sanitation, and QA.
