Process Operator

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate all production equipment at or above production and quality standards and CIP systems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all quality assurance checks are performed at designated intervals Understand product flow from milk silos to bottling/packaging departments Know correct product, silo source, and all handling procedures involved with the operation of processing equipment Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and maintained with correct information Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Production or general work experience preferred Certification and/or License - may be required during the course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Able to follow directions and carry out instructions Able to effectively work in a team environment Able to legibly write entries for record keeping Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Must be able to read, write, and speak English
