Sugarland, Texas Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card Eligible to enroll in dental, vision, and medical insurance, as well as 401K, direct deposit, and referral bonus program Job Description Seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Wafer Process Technician to support the manufacturing of compound semiconductor devices. The role involves operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, handling wafers and chemicals, and ensuring process integrity in a cleanroom environment. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to support high-yield semiconductor production and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct wafer manufacturing in cleanroom conditions Operate high-tech semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including PECVD, AFM, SEM, and wet benches Handle chemicals safely, including acids, bases, solvents, and photoresists, and manage proper disposal Perform routine equipment maintenance and support new product introductions Document process deviations, assist with investigations, and support urgent production demands Qualifications and Requirements Associate degree, technical diploma, or higher in a science or engineering-related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally semiconductor industry Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills Strong attention to detail and steady hand for delicate equipment Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and manage time effectively Willingness to wear cleanroom attire and PPE for chemical handling May require prolonged sitting or standingBenefits and Perks Pay Rate:
