We want a leader, with a positive, outgoing personality! In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality ice cream products that delight our customers. You will utilize your culinary expertise and knowledge of food safety to ensure that all products meet our high standards. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for crafting unique flavors. Responsibilities Prepare and produce various ice cream flavors using high-quality ingredients while adhering to food safety standards. Manage the ice cream rolling process from start to finish, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch. Collaborate with the team to get great google and yelp reviews for the store. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed to maintain production efficiency. Assist in training new staff on ice cream making techniques, equipment operation, and food safety practices. Participate in menu planning and budgeting discussions to optimize production costs while maintaining quality. Create the schedule, and manage labor costs and percentages based on sales numbers. Experience Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, preferably within a restaurant or food service environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous experience in restaurant management or leadership roles is mandatory. Familiarity with soda, tea, and/or coffee preparation can be beneficial for creating complementary flavor profiles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
