What You'll Do:

As a Winery Associate, you will be the face of Horton Vineyards, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Warmly welcoming and assisting guests, expertly guiding them through our diverse wine flights, tastings, and selections. Enthusiastically sharing in-depth knowledge about Horton Vineyards' wines, our unique winemaking processes, and the rich history that defines our vineyard. Efficiently processing sales transactions, which encompass wine purchases, new club memberships, and merchandise sales. Maintaining a pristine, organized, and inviting atmosphere within the tasting room to enhance the guest experience. Assisting with the stocking, restocking, and inventory management of wines and merchandise as required. Providing dedicated support for private events, exclusive wine club gatherings, and special tasting sessions. Consistently representing Horton Vineyards with the highest degree of professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm.

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Demonstrated strong experience in customer service or hospitality. A friendly, outgoing personality coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 40 lbs (equivalent to cases of wine). Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a winery, brewery, restaurant, or retail environment. A genuine interest in or existing knowledge of wine. Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
