Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Beertender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering positive interactions with customers and enhancing their overall experience in our family-friendly brewery. This role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. The Beertender will play a crucial role in promoting our brand and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. If you're interested in learning about the craft beer industry and the beer making process, there is also opportunity to grow and assist in brewing and developing recipes! Base pay starts at $7.25/hr plus tips, with a $12.41/hr minimum pay rate. Employees receive a 50% discount and paid training. Responsibilities Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere. Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Utilize POS system to process orders efficiently. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Conduct basic math calculations for retail transactions and inventory management. Requirements Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, particularly in a brewery or food service environments. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills is essential. Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to help customers effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
