Tasting Room Associate

Tasting Room Associate - Chrysalis Vineyards We are seeking to hire professional individuals that will share the passion and story behind Chrysalis Vineyards and the quality wines that we craft. Applicants should be friendly and welcoming, ambitious, customer service-oriented individuals with strong hospitality and customer service skills. Possession of wine knowledge is a plus but is not required; however, willingness to learn is required. We work to maintain a team environment and ask that all applicants be positive, encouraging, and maintain professional communication with co-workers and guests at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as an ambassador for Chrysalis Vineyards Maintain a working knowledge and be able to share information about our wine and food offerings as well as the history of Chrysalis Vineyards Foster genuine relationships with members and guests through exemplary customer service Operate point of sales system and complete transactions with accuracy and efficiency Maintain the general appearance and cleanliness of the Tasting Room Perform opening and closing duties, including stocking and cleaning Participate in mandatory trainings

Position Qualifications:

Applicants must be: 21 years of age or older, be authorized to work within the United States, must be able to lift 50 lbs, and be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time Possess strong communication skills Ability to work with a team Be able to able to follow both written and verbal communication Must be available for a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month

Compensation:

$15 - $25+/hr (tips and club commissions are included in this amount)
