Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our vibrant food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ice cream and frozen desserts, ensuring consistency, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes and production guidelines, ensuring optimal texture and flavor. Operate and maintain ice cream production equipment, including pasteurizers, mix tanks, freezers, and packaging machinery, with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues promptly. Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to guarantee food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with food industry regulations. Assist with packaging finished products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and quality control checks. Support inventory management by accurately documenting ingredients usage, batch records, and production logs. Use forklifts safely when handling bulk ingredients or finished products within the manufacturing facility. Experience Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and CGMP is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with industrial equipment used in food production is a plus. Experience with sanitation procedures specific to the food industry ensures adherence to health regulations. Ability to operate packaging machinery and forklifts safely is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards are essential for success in this role.
